Recent Odin Browser Reviews
Good thing, its the only tv browser i’ve seen that has tabs. Bad thing, you can only “X” close the tabs you opened. If you get a popup spam attack, all those tab are missing the “X” to close. You have to close the entire browser to get rid of them. No bookmark bar like all the rest. No add-ons of any kind for popup/ad-block protection. Not even the most basic controls(like the rest) Why is it so difficult to get a decent tv browser even though smart tvs are very functional now. This browser has a real chance if it works on the controls and showing webpages better. Some pages it simply won’t show other than a big block of links
Super. Odin practically turns my 70″ Acer Android smart TV into a giant Chromebook. I tried a bunch of other browsers, but they were just unpredictable. Not one, for example, opened Gmail properly. Gmail always made those browsers crash (Puffin, Jio Pages, Open Browser). But Odin runs Gmail perfectly. And Google Drive and Google Docs. And YouTube. And it feels like a regular, desktop browser, too.
it will be good to include a ad-blocker built in, rest is perfect. A simple usable TV browser
No more streaming games with the dreaded sandboxing not supported. This browser finally does the trick.
It’s not great but at least it sort of seems to work.
